Barb is a seminar leader and keynote speaker
who assists nurses and other professionals

Barb has more than 2 decades of nursing experience in acute care, academia and the community. She has held several different roles including staff nurse, nurse educator, nursing instructor, manager (of 500 employees) and consultant. As a nurse with “across all sectors” experience, Barb has worked with many groups, teams and individuals to improve their working relationships. In her first year as manager, Barb was nominated by her employees for a prestigious “Above and Beyond” award, for her remarkable work with her team.
Now as a speaker and seminar leader, Barb provides high energy, entertaining and insightful keynotes and workshops to leaders and health care professionals. Barb uses a unique blend of story-telling, quick wit and powerful tools to guide participants to personal responsibility and individual transformation. Barb also uses high-impact metaphoric exercises to assist and sustain participant learning. Her work is grounded in nursing practice which enables her to lead with experience, transparency and realism.
