About Barb

Barb Langlois RN, BSN, MSN has more than two decades of nursing experience and has worked across all nursing sectors. She has been a staff nurse, assistant head nurse and nurse educator in acute care; a nursing instructor in both the classroom and clinical setting; and a manager, in the community. In her first year as manager, Barb was nominated for a prestigious “Above and Beyond” award for her work with teams.
Barb found common issues of nurses getting along with one another, learning to communicate respectfully with one another, and having the courage to speak up, were present wherever she worked and significantly impacted the nursing unit or office. As a manager, this was 95% of Barb’s work.
Due to her success and enjoyment in dealing with these issues, Barb now works independently speaking and leading workshops on guiding participants to individual responsibility and personal transformation. Barb is an engaging and high energy speaker and consultant. Her keynotes and workshops have audience’s laughing, reflecting and facing their fears.
In addition to her formal nursing education, Barb is a Professional Certified Firewalking Instructor. Her “Ultimate Possibility” programs are absolutely phenomenal. Barb combines nursing practice issues with breaking through fears to create an extraordinary learning experience.
Barb receives lots of practice in honing her skills as she continuously strives to have her 3 children get along with one another and communicate respectfully with one another. She sees it as an ongoing challenge!
